First DE shave yesterday. I have most of a full beard, so was only shaving my chin, neck and upper cheeks.
Equipment:
I was expecting it to be harder than it was, honestly. I have been using shave soaps for a few years now, so no issues there. The new brush made face lathering even easier. I just washed my face for prep, didn't shower. I found the right angle by holding the handle at 90 degrees, and rotating it down while pulling down slightly. When the razor stopped pulling, I used that angle. Did my normal passes with the new razor, WTG, ATG, with an XTG as well on the neck. Shave was smother than the Mach 3, no cuts. Day of shave and day after, no ingrown hairs or irritation on my neck. First time using the Thayer's, and it seemed to do a lot too. Looking forward to shaving again tomorrow.
