Sorry about the vague title,
My question is about different razors and there product number. does the 89 in the Edwin jagger 89 acually mean anything compared to the 86 in the Edwin Jagger 86? I notice most newer razors have a number in the name like the Merkur 34c and 23C. Now does these numbers mean anything or are they simply just to distinguish the different razors? I thought it may have something to do with weight....but I dont see a correlation.
