I don't recommend doing this, but the point I am going to make will be self explanatory.
Last night I thought I would be smart and prepare for my morning shave to save time as I was leaving early , yada yada, yada....
I put my TOBS Jermyn Street on the Radiator, only because it has a flat surface.. there was not much left in the Tub.
This morning..
I popped my Semogue brush into some warm water, washed my face with soap and went to apply cream to brush. To my dismay the cream had turned to a gooey liquid, quite clear in description.
I dumped my brush into the liquid, gave it a couple of twirls and started face lathering.. goodness, the brush was so think with lather, that I found it difficult to apply, I kept dipping the brush into water , until I had the thickest lather on my face I have ever had, it was thick and very sumptuous, glorious in all its entirety.
Well I started shaving with my DBL89L and a 3 day old Persona Red, goodness 3 passes WTG, XTG and ATG , everywhere including my danger area since I took my goatee off.. (the Chin) the result..
Perfect, no irritation and the smoothest easiest shave I have ever had.. a fantastic BBS..
The Point?
Since starting shaving DE in May 2013 I definitely have not been applying enough lather..
Lesson learnt and class over.
