So I had a dilema, yesterday in Phx Az I picked up my '61 adjustable Fatboy and planed to shave with it tonight but then my Wunderbar slant arrived in the mail...some problem to have hun? So I shaved with the Wunderbar. Here are my first shave thoughts;
Looks: Shall we just say ...er...unique and a little gorgeous?
Build: Very well built, it is at least on a par with PAA's Evolution in stainless. It felt little lite however and it has a ways to go if ever wants to reach ATT status
Price point: $130 and worth every penny.
Impressions: I have heard that this razor is aggressive but I thought it was just right (YMMV.) In two passes with buffering I easily got BBS on my face and DFS on my neck. This razor is comfortable and efficient. I got two little nicks on my neck and some burn from the alum on the neck but it was cool on the face. I did cut the back of my head but my lather was a little runny at that point and I was moving kinda fast that late in my shave so that one is on me. One other problem is that due to the extreme slant and covered razor tabs it was difficult to follow the lines on my goatee but I'm confident that will come with practice. For me this is a solid razor all the way around I'm very pleased with it and I'll let you know if things change. Also, some have indicated that pictures would be nice so I promise to look into it.
