I shaved with this today because I don't have any bay rum soap to shave with. What's wrong with me right. Anyway, a got a good shave with this and I like the fragrance. It's not Tabac, but it's still a good soap. I put a teaspoon of warm water on the soap and closed the lid and soaked my brush while I showered. I don't know how times I swirled the brush around or how long, but a got a nice rich lather. I stopped after I saw the lather hiding the soap. I had to add water to the brush to thin the soap out a little. All in all, I like Stirling Soaps. I thinking about using the Piacenza for citrusting in fall week. It has a defiant I've lemon smell to it before lathering.
