A quick update gents on my early experience with the Merkur Vision 2000 razor. I will get this out of the way first....
Greatest, hands down, no doubt about it, end of discussion, enough said, period... DE Shave I have ever had in my limited time with DE razors. If the shaving gods had a DE razor, this would be it. It's a big, big razor. And it has some real weight and beefiness. I set it at its most aggressive setting, right on N, and with a light touch and no pressure it proceeded to slice and dice my whiskers. 2 passes, touch up and done. No irritation, 2 tiny weepers and the biggest grin on my face since I purchased my very first car. Amazing, amazing shave. But, if this razor is not used with care, meat grinder and fillet time. Trust me the first few minutes were a little disconcerting until I got the right angle and started to get comfortable with it. Truly, a wonderful shave and magnificent tool. All I can say is, to those who haven't tried one you're missing out on one phenomenal tool. And to those who have, congrats! This thing is awesome...
