Just looked at the lineup of Charcoal Goods' DE Safety Razors. The advertising claims that each razor is crafted in the artisan's shop.
It occurred to me that the razor heads look a lot like that of EJ / Muhle. With so many brands having what looks like identical heads on their offerings, but yet claim "hand made" and "made in" where ever their company is based, are these heads really being made by them (albeit probably replicating some previous older design) or are they getting it from a central manufacturer and then just re-branding at point of sale? Therefore all that is truly made in-house are the handles.
