Finally shaved with my Razor Emporium rhodium plated birth year razor.
Build: Excellent for its day. It may not be the equal of a ATT tank but it has lasted 55 years and with the TLC given it by R.E it will, no doubt, go another 55+. Also the re plate and re build are without obvious flaw. I am very happy with this razor.
Price point: How does one price history and workmanship? Although it is pricey I would gladly pay the same price again so I must be OK with the price as well.
Impressions: My previous shave left me with some razor burn on my neck and a cut (my fault) on the back of my head. Nevertheless, with my Fatboy set on 3 the shave was smooth as butter. It took 3 passes but I got to BBS most everywhere with a little DFS on my neck. It did not aggravate my razor burn nor did it reopen my previous wound. I was very impressed with that outcome. Bear in mind that these results are very preliminary and has I try new settings I will keep you posted if anything changes
