Wanting to shave tonight before the next day I chose a Derby blade. I normally use polsilver SI or GSB blades. I tried Derby blades when I first started DE shaving with poor results. Tonight was totally different. I used the same razor, did good prep and used stirling sandlewood shave soap.
What a great shave, nothing like the first times I tried them. I guess my technique has improved along with prep and lathering. I would consider buying a 100 pack, I think.
I did get one nice nick but that was my fault and not the blade.
What a pleasant Derby blade surprise today
