Gen Con 2014 was terrific. WotC released the new DnD. The Pathfinder booth had so many people trying to get in, the space was cordoned off, customers were made to stand outside the hall, with only X number allowed inside the booth.
On Friday night, 1,000 fans all played the same Pathfinder game at the same time. The coordination was incredible. I spent most of the time meeting with distributors.
Lighting was bad, but Saturday night dinner with authors Lizz Weis, Troy Denning, and Wolfgang Baur. Also Publisher of Tor Books Tom Doherty, and owner of Cardinal Distribution...Tom Doherty, Jr. Also Erik Mona, Chief Creative Officer, Paizo, Inc., James Sutter Paizo Senior Editor of Pathfinder Tales, and my Man Friday, Cosmo Eisele. No particular order.
