I have my razor and a brush. After reading some things, I've decided to face lather (rather than hand or bowl).
Yesterday, I was in the store and I bought some Cremo Cream - which it turns out you simply rub on and don't lather. Oops.
I asked at one of the shaving sites what I should use for face lathering and he told me any shave cream that's in a tub and not in a tube. That sounded kind of weird to me, so here I am.
Then, there are the shaving sticks. The guy I spoke with made the claim that sticks are soaps and that creams are not soaps. I thought a cream was just a soap that was not hardened into a puck or bar.
So, what do you recommend for face lathering? Specific products would be helpful and I do want to be economical. I've had some tell me that the Arko Stick is good.
