I waited for my third day of not shaving to give my neck a break. It has been hot here and the shower is being remodeled. So, I lathered up with Noxema and put a warm towel on my face for about 3 minutes. My boar brush was soaking in warm water for about 10 minutes total. Astra blade had one previous shave on it.
Rubbed off the Noxema against the grain with the towel. Put another thin layer of NOX on and lathered up with my new cake of Arko smashed into my Marvy cup with 4 drops of glycerin on it. Add a little water and face lather. Nice THICK lather painted on. WTG, NOX, Lather, XTG, NOX, Lather......what the heck lets get crazy! AGT and almost no problems whatsoever.
Mild irritation on the right side of my face below the corner of my mouth, irritated before shaving by my skin condition. I will not call my one spot of blood a nick, I think I cut off a pimple.
Alum block stung a little, but much much less than the other 4 shaves. Cold water splash, Witch hazel, cold water, Bump Patrol on neck and Razorock King Louis on the rest of my face.
I will call this a little victory.
