I consider myself to have a bit of a pen collection. I have around 35 "good" pens in total. Most of them are Parker Jotters/Vectors which I received as gifts. Half of them are rollerballs and the others, apart from one fountain, are ballpoints.
(Also, I seem to have a Made in England Parker ballpoint. I shall certainly enlist your help in identifying it.)
Then, I have approximately eight Pierre Cardins, all of them ball points.
My fountain pen collection includes a Parker 45 Flighter Stainless Steel, which I use as a dip pen (Find it most satisfying to dip the pen into an inkpot and writing until the ink finishes), a Parker Vector/Jotter thing with cartridges. I am not a fan of it as the nib is very scratchy. I used to have a special Parker Vector fountain pen which was made for the 98 France world cup. Owing to my idiocy and age (8-ish), I broke the cap, the place where the metal section joined the barrel, and something else as well. I had the nib (a very nice, VERY smooooooth one) for some time but it was probably thrown away at some point. I also have a Hero with a hooded nib with a very fine nib. I'm not sure about Hero's reputation and I am not quite sure if it even is genuine.
I very recently, as in, on 27 May received a Sheaffer Prelude Brushed Chrome with Medium Nib as a gift. Love it so far! Very nice and smooth nib. I think it trumped the Parker Sonnet with the gold nib, which I tried at a store some days ago.
Uh, I guess that's about it.
With regards
