I want a Bay Rum that lasts as long as Clubman. Master has a little too much "oily" feel after it dries, so I've been mixing it half and half with Superior 70. When that didn't last all day I added about 6 drops per ounce of bay essential oil, that made it last a little longer, but still not that "all day long" effect of Clubman. Is it just something that can't be done with "real" bay oil and that is why so many makers use clove and other scents to augment Bay rums?
P.S. My Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum may be here this afternoon, so I can make some "correct formula" Bootleggers Bay Rum.
