Let me start off by saying this is only my second badger brush. I've been a boar brush user exclusively for some time. But, I am a fan of WSP soaps, so I decided to pick up this variant from them. And I must say, it has impressed me so far through 3 shaves. Has a nice wood handle, a decent sized knot and holds water very well. And to my nose, I did not get much of a stink or smell from it. It lathers really nice and the touch is nice and soft, feels good on the face. Hair loss has been very minimal, maybe 3-4 hairs since I've had it. Backbone or stiffness is a little on the soft side for me, but then again maybe I'm just used to the stiffness of a boar. All in all, a nice little brush for under $20. And it's staying in my rotation for sure...
