Paladin Soaps: Yesterday Class For Today's Need For A Little

Globalisation has given us many advantages. One disadvantage is the loss of anticipating a item specially made or acquired
through effort beyond point and click. Black Friday can be, if you're financially in the red. Today brought much needed rain
and homicidal soccer moms in Panzer Grenadier SUVs reenacting the Battle of Kursk. Ah, but I've been tracking a package.
It sat across the street as my mail carrier had lunch and then 30 minutes stuffing mass mailings for mass merchandise for
the masses. Sorry Engles, I'm in a dowager Countess of Grantham mood. My computer finally announced DELIVERED.
I ran out under a waxed, red paper japanese umbrella with Geisha. My indian nieghbors gave me frightened looks from behind windows letting incense and Ravi Shankar slip out.
I possess a Paladin Lotus. Eat your hearts out 1 percenters.
But wait! there's more! I have a jar of each soap and balm. Want a review? You're geting one.
Black glass jars with dignified labeling. I don't care for retro motiffs, handlebar colonels, pin up girls or embaressing names. Glass is environmentaly neutral with energy used and post consumer impact. It also doesn't interact with the contents. There is a generous quantity of soap in there. This isn't Godiva chocolates but a family sized Hershey bar.
Ingredients? More importnat, what's lacking? PALM OIL! I own several, but this stuff is the black gold and apartheid diamonds of past conflict and destruction. It's ethical dilemna just as TALLOW is for others. Paladin has Tallow and Lanolin
and a bunch of other goodstuff. I noticed Shea butter, which I love with a caveat.
I believe it may be culprit in some soaps demanding studied lathering technique. I used warm tap water, no blooming or
religious benedictions. No quarter asked, or given. I face lather. I easilly picked up a rather sparse load- hey, I'm excited here! I had to adjust the water content before getting a nice lather. I did cut it some slack with a virgin Super Iridium. Scent, and this extends to all versions is restrained but delightfull. I expect few issues with irritation some essentially overdone oils wreak. I had 3 day's growth in anticipation and it took 4 very studied passes worthy of the Kid Shilleen bath scene in Cat Ballou to recognise myself.
This is a very nice soap at a modest price lowered from a fair one after some catterwhalling by people possessing less for more soaps or whatever Gov Jerry Brown once promoted.
rain just stopped, sky clearing and I'm going to budget for more.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
