Non Coconut Based Creams

Afternoon everyone,

I've been at this whole wet shaving thing for a couple years now and I've felt like it's been a struggle. I know I have a very coarse heavy beard and very sensitive skin but it seems like I'm always a little reddish pink and fighting ingrown hairs.

Up until last week I was working my way through Stirling unscented with beeswax. Then I switched to Giovanni Eco Chic cream (unscented sensitive) with some watered down Barbasol over the top and after only 2 days everything cleared up. I bought a tube of Cremo and same thing, no problem.

So I'm wondering...could it be that almost every soap and cream is coconut based? I've seen where it can cause a skin reaction so I'm wondering if that's the problem. I'd like recommendations of creams to try that don't have coconut.

Any help is greatly appreciated
