Had my first shave with Haslinger (schafmilch) today. Wow, fantastic stuff ... crazy-comfortable shave! Post shave lives up it's reputation - without a doubt. And I actually love the scent! It's just a light, clean, soap smell - nothing more. I don't think there's any kind of additional fragrance in it - you're just smelling the raw soap ingredients (which is fine with me).
My only complaint is the size of the puck. It'a tiny! For those of you that have used Haslinger for quite a while - do you find that you get a decent lifespan out of this soap, or do you find that it wears down pretty fast? I have about 20 soaps that I'm rotating through, and I only shave every other day, so I'm not concerned really - just curious. But wow, that's the smallest shaving soap puck I've ever seen.
Last question - do you find that the other Haslinger soaps measure up to the quality of the schafmilch? Would love to try a few of their other soaps, but I'm wondering if they're on par with the schafmilch.
