The difference between cart razors and double edge razors became amazingly clear today. Had five days of beard growth, and my Merkur 34c/Feather blade combination just cut right through it like it was nothing. It was really cool. Had I tried to take on this much stubble with my Mach 3, would've clogged it up and greatly reduced the effectiveness of the blades. Yep. Very smooth shave too. Stirling Bay Rum soap, and Adidas Dynamic Pulse aftershave, good to go. Sometimes retro is best, especially with razors.
