Why haven't I been shaving like this my whole life? (pic)

Awesome first DE shave! I feel and smell like a million bucks! Unfortunately, I still got an ugly mug.

Razorock heavy duty with Astra Platinum blade. No nicks no burn! BBS on my cheeks at least. I did three passes. I got everything by the second. The third pass? That was for pleasure... Things I learned from this first run:

1) safety razor shaving is not as hard as I thought

2) Proraso green soap feels amazing!

3) it takes a lot longer (used to cartridge shave in the shower)

4) makes a mess

5) I don't need such a big badger brush. I used a 24 mm from whippeddog

A question I have: how do you deal with hard to reach spots? Specifically, my mustache grows way up into my nostrils. How do you get in there?

Thanks for all the great info! I lurked in here a while before making the commitment. So far it's been a great decision.
