The SR-71 is aggressive, yet surprisingly smooth. It's a very heavy as well. 5.15 oz! whereas the mighty "Sledgehammer" as it's known 39C comes in at 3.9 oz. The SR-71 is only about the overall size of a Gillette LC/SC, but much more robust.
The 39C is also aggressive and smooth, but for me the SR-71 REALLY knocks out the stubble fast.
The 39C is going to have a much nicer chrome finish, but the handle doesn't provide an entirely secure grip IMO.
The SR-71 finish isn't as nice, but I think that's part of the design element. To emulate the Blackbird plane.
The SR-71 is 3.25 inches long and has a 5/8" wide handle.
The 39C is 4.0 inches long and has a 7/16" wide handle.
There's also a thread on it here that will have more information:

Awesome thanks man @
-EdG, I think I'll wait for more to be released. I'm on the notification list with my e-mail. I won't turn up my nose to the 37c I'll give it a fair shake when I get my turn. I have some odd skin. I have some stretch marks on my body but my face isn't sensitive at all to shaving. I like to feel the blade so if you say this razor is aggressive I'm all for it.
Heavy is my gig, I made a very heavy stainless steel brush that I've deemed the sledgehammer of the brush world just to be paired with the 39c. This razor being solid brass is a major plus, the zamac/pot metal whatever you want to call it of my first Merkur razor turned me off a bit and certain blades don't center very well in mine if I'm not paying attention when I tighten it down.
I keep my eyes peeled on BST and other places for one but I don't expect to get one until The Holy Black starts selling more.

Here's my brush the one on the right. I turned both of these on CNC lathe. The aluminum I gave to my Father it has TGN finest fan. Mine has Envy white fan, both are 24mm. I haven't weighed it and even after hogging a lot of material out of base it's still very heavy. I joke if I ever lose my grip when shaking out hair everything in my bathroom is at a risk for demolition.

Hey SR-71 owners!
