Well the title of this thread pretty much sums it up. I'll hone on the Norton 8k 'till it shaves very well a few times just to be sure before going to my Snow White Flake or Nani 12k. But every time I get the subjective impression that the edge winds up worse for the wear. I'm sure there are no absolute explanations but I just can't figure out why my best edges have been coming off the Norton 8k. At this finishing stage I'm being very mindful of consistent pressure, undercut, & feedback. What gives?
