I saw this cream on Amazon, and thought it was reasonably priced. I usually go for Soaps, because in the end they seem like a better value over time, but this time I wanted to get the full effect of the scent. I had read that creams tend to have a stronger scent than Soaps.
Anyway, It arrived yesterday, and I used it this morning. The Good: I got a close clean comfortable shave using my Merkur 38C and Polsilver SI. Slickness was excellent and post shave face feel was very nice (I finished with Fine Fresh Vetiver). The bad: The scent was so subtle as to be almost unnoticable. I'd heard such great things about the Marlborough scent that I thought that I'd give it a try, but I was very disappointed with the scent strength. Am I doing something wrong here? I hope that I am.Perhaps I received a bad tub, or one sold past its sell by date? Any input would be welcome.
