I have a Maggard MR9 which is a beautiful razor with plenty of heft. However, the handle is a machined piece of stanless steel which has the finish from the lathe left as is. Not that it is a bad finish by any means, it is excellent craftsmanship. However, the head is chrome plated and very shinny.
So, the question I pose is thus:
Should I chuck the handle in a drill and go to town on it with some polishing compound so it resembles the head or just leave it as is?
As you can tell, this monumentous decision has left me in such a state that I cleaned all my razors this morning, milled my puck of Arko into my Learjet mug and made my coffee extra strong. If I cannot come to a decent conclusioni soon, I may have to take further measures such as mowing the lawn twice in a week, writing a hand written letter to someone, or partaking of a craft beer at the local brewhouse so I might find clarity.
