Saw a lot on eBay not getting any bids. Asked the seller for pictures of the stone, and got a lot of pictures of the backside of the hone. Looked like a slate. Curious little hone, worth a gamble I figured. It gets here and the backside is similar to a vosgiennes I owned, as well as a few other random slates. The stone's 5.5x2.25", has a neat little box and feels pretty fast and middle grit under a razor. I'll try it out better tomorrow and know more. Given the lot I assume it was used as a razor touch up stone, so I'm pretty curious... because it does feel really aggressive and regular... so a good slate, but It doesn't feel as fine as I'd expect a razor finisher to be.
