After finally getting around to fixing my 1969 O-4 gold super adjustable ( thanks Troy).
I have used it for a couple shaves now and it seems milder at same settings than my 1966 Slim.
Normally I set the Slim at 7 and get a very smooth, close shave. First shave with SA I started at 7 but then dialed it up to 8 and got a smooth and close shave. I still think I could dial it to 9 and get a smooth, closer shave.
I did check the gap with a feeler gauge up to 5 and settings were in spec side to side and corner to corner. I couldn't check 6-9 because I couldn't find my larger feeler gauge set and I didn't want to stack steel gauges for fear of scratching.
has anyone else experienced this?
