Hey guys,
Just bought my first TI straight razor from the Art of Shaving as "shave ready", however after sharpening with a whetstone and stropping I just can't get a shave that's as smooth and close as my safety razor (it's like chopping down a tree and leaving the stump). I've heard that even when claimed as shave ready I may need to send my razor off to get honed by a honemeister. If this is so, anyone know of a good place...Oregon perhaps?
