Okay. I'm apparently a slow learner.
Do NOT shave with anyone home (at least for me!). Two even number shaves, two cuts each, and people home.
Last time the whole family was home. This time, just the youngest whos ever encouraging words were, "I'm pretty sure you're going to cut yourself!"
I now have a pretty dang good cut on each cheek. The first one I had to cut a bit of skin off. This last one was about the same. I ended up with shave cream and hairs getting under the flap of skin.
I'm getting better at stropping, but I need to figure out how to skip the even numbered shaves somehow. Or just shave when I'm home alone!
Its amazing though how slicing your face with a straight razor doesn't hurt.
I felt a tug on my cheek, but nothing else. I knew I had cut myself by the tug, but then the blood started.
