Frieder Herder Constant 77, 13/16 wide, shave-ready, hollow ground, stainless steel straight razor made in Solingen, Germany. I've never seen a Herder stainless steel razor. As you can see the razor is in great condition, bright and clean. I am not sure if it's ever been used. Herder is one of the best Solingen brands. The blade has jimps on top and bottom of the shank for better grip. Original scales with three spades and "Constant" on the front, as does the back shank on the blade. This one is marked Germany and it's one of the best Soligen razors I've ever used. I am not sure if Dorko, Puma or Wustoff made this one but performance wise it's certainly comparable to those great brands. Decorated blade with very nice gold wash. It has a picture of a ship on the blade and shank. Jimps on the bottom of the shank for better grip. I think the scales are original and like most vintage French straight razors they are a bit tight which makes it easier to display the decorated blade.
