Hey everyone I am a 17 year old SR shaver from Georgia. I am currently using a new DOVO SR that I got for Christmas. Due to some health problems I had my first chance to shave with it this weekend. I thought that I did pretty well for my first time shaving with hair on my face (you see there was this one time when I was about 4...). Only 2 minor nicks and BBS. Now take that with a grain of salt because my beard hair is rather thin. I used the art of shaving travel kit (lavender) for my soap and I must say that I like the smell but I could not seem to produce an adequate face lather. I am thinking about getting some mikes natural pine and cederwood soap for my next foray into the world of the blade. My new razor failed the HHT which really bummed me out because the art of shaving said that their razors were shave ready out of the box. Another thing was a small chip in the scales :cursing: as well as uneven wear pattern on the spine of the razor. Should I send it back?
