My SLR (a Nikon D2x) is getting pretty outdated, and I honestly don't use it much. Actually, I don't use any of my cameras as much as I should, but that is another problem...
I'm kind of in love with the image quality the Fuji lenses and sensors can muster up, and I just bought myself a new wide angle for my X-E1. Now lens AD has kicked in, and I have pretty much decided I am going to hit Fuji up for a good deal on the 60mm next week...
So my conundrum is, should I sell my SLR, or keep it "just in case"?
The pros to selling it are I'll get a bit of money to spend on Fuji stuff, which I will use more. Plus, I will make some space.
The cons to selling it, I won't get much money as the camera is old. And I will have a pro flash and some lenses doing nothing, which I probably won't sell just in case I change my mind later and buy a more modern SLR body.
I don't shoot any commercial work any more, and if I did the Fuji is up to the task with the right lenses, even if it doesn't look like a "real" camera, because it is so small. If I do ever decide to get a commercial photography job again it will probably be for a wage, so I will hopefully have the businesses kit to use. The stuff I'll have at home will be just for me.
What say you? Thoughts?
