I got Global Entry last year which is worth every penny. When I come back to the US, I walk past everyone and am on the street in 5 minutes or less. Recently in Frankfurt, Germany I visited the Police Office at the airport and signed up for the German EASYPass. This allows the same access to German airports as the Global entry does to the US, avoiding long customs lines. The difference? It's free and takes 5 minutes, vs. time-consuming forms, $200 and a possibly long wait for an interview...
