Hi All,
I have a Gillette SS red tip in good shape. I notice that on my flare tip and 1940s SS that as I tighten the TTOs, there is a bit of resistance that happens at the end as it begins to close (no blade inserted at this point). There is a feeling of a gradual tightening up (much like the Rockets). With my red tip, I turn the TTO knob and then it suddenly just stops- no resistance. I would like the TTO action on the red tip to be more like the flare and 1940. I'm wondering if I...
