This is one of those old guy diatribes 'bout kids these days. Maybe it is the elimination of the draft or the helicopter parents or the recent recession. Whatever the cause, the number of Peter Pan lads and lassies who still depend on mom or dad for support sure seems to be growing. Kids are taking several more years to earn a degree or find themselves. And even if they have left the nest they have hands out for help with car insurance or cell phone bills or vacations.
