My current house has a closet in the basement that has served as a wine cellar for many years. My wife used to buy futures (2 - 4 cases at a time) and we generally had anywhere from 15-25 cases at a time - both aging and for current consumption. In the next few months we will be moving to a house that has virtually no space that isn't heated - all the floors, including the basement have radiant heat and the attic spaces in the eaves are super insulated. Our wine consumption has dropped...
