I shave around my beard... tried warming my neck with a hot towel... and using a 'shave butter' from Dollar Shave club.... not good... (I've got a good soap on order from West Coast Shaving, Ogallala Bay Rum and Orange Shaving Soap, along with a nice ceramic bowl and a Simpson badger brush) the razor didn't 'glide' like I'd seen.. and by the way... kudos to those on YouTube who make this look so easy. I think I was trying too much pressure, need to work on my angles... and my holding technique. Top of my cheeks wasn't too bad... but I am definitely looking forward to my new soap. On the positive side.. it's the closest shave I've ever had!
