Got a EJ razor and a set of Derby blades for Xmas, after being very disappointed by a certain manufacturer's razor. Luckily the said manufacturer honoured their satisfaction refund policy and it is now at the back of the bathroom cabinet.
Onto the double edged razor - what a difference! I now enjoy shaving, get an incredibly close shave and spend time doing it right. It is not actually my first DE razor - when I was travelling in China I got a cheap $2 one as it was all that was available in a little town. Even that outperformed the market leaders.
Anyway to cut a long story short I am hooked, have just ordered some shaving cream, a nice brush and about 100 different blades to try. Should keep me going for the next couple of years!
