I love the workmanship of the Feather BUT I just get a much better and closer shave with the Gillette Rocket. I knew going in that the Feather was mild and it honestly would be a perfect razor for someone that needs mild. I thought I may need mild because I do have sensitive skin but the shave is just not that close and the handle could lose 1/2". This Rocket is just killing it versus anything I have tried. Put my favorite Med Prep and it just works perfectly. Started to shave today and made it through half of my face with the Feather and decided I would compare it to the Rocket. Stopped on first pass with Feather and used the same WTG with Rocket. It just cut hairs the Feather missed. Had three day's growth and the Rocket just mowed it down. Not sure if I just got so used to the 40's NDC SS, which I loved, but I have compared the two heads and they are definitely different. All of that being said, I love the Feather for what it is but I think my HD 500 Rocket will be my go to razor.
