I'm looking for a purple that really pops off the page. Not subtle or professional, but bright, even alarming, with rich saturation. I has to be well-behaved with a good flow. Decent shading is a bonus. I don't care much about drying time or water resistance. Any recommendations?
I read a few of the relevant threads on purples, and syngent did a review of Waterman's Tender Purple, which looks close. But if there is something even more dramatic -- but still a true purple -- I'd like to take a look. I have both Iroshi Yama-budo and Iroshi Asa-gao, and I love them. They have that brightness I'm looking for. But Yama-budo is more of a plum color. I could try mixing the two, but I'm interested if there are off-the-shelf varieties that might suit.
Thank you in advance.
