i got this brush over the weekend the knot just pulled right out was a badger hair knot i believe 19mm. the paint is really nice on it its not wood not sure what its made out of but says made in west germany so i am guessing has to be from the 50tys? no manufacturer name on it what so ever. i cleaned it up with soap and water and thats it . i love the way it looks now still need to clean out inside where the knot would go. i was thinking of putting a fine badger knot back on there but at 19mm you think it be to floppy or should i go with a synthetic knot?also does anyone happen to know the manufacturer on it?
