I have been a member here for a month or two and have often lurked the pages, but read a thread recently that admonished a lurker for never checking in or posting before he posted about a less than reputable vendor. In the interest of bring a good and productive member (and in the interest of maintaining this site's decorum) I wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
My name is Ben, I've been wet shaving with a DE safety razor for about 2 years, but have really gotten into it as a hobby in the last 6 months. I definitely suffer from RAD & SAD. Last week I finally got my first straight razor (a Dovo Bismarck)! I actually got a pretty decent shave with my first attempt; no major nicks or weepers.
