I guess the mechanics of the handle get in the way of doing something like that... a regular DE blade that would be put into a sleeve would give off to much leverage and thus force on the rather flimsy change system of the cart handle. Same applies to a Gem style blade. Look at the size of a Gem Razor head and plopping that on a mach 3 clicksnap handle... well... with a Mach 3 style system you could actually barely get away with it due to the action being in the blade head and not the handle/blade connection like on a Sensor.
It could possibly be done with a injector or Feather AC type blade... or maybe DE Halfblades... but then again, whats the point.... if its ridgid it would be something like an injector style feeling (if mounted with a pivoting point) and the angle would have to be set by the adapter... or with a pivot syle head... it would be difficult to get the pivoting action combined with size and usability in a small size head... think about how you would have to open the adapter to get to the blade, the mechanics of the pivoting action and being restricted by size due to shavability and stability issues...
I guess it could be done... but then again... with so many options of great modern and vintage razors available... where would the benefit be.
I like the thought though... cool idea
