Shovelhead!

Ok, @TobyC, I cleaned up my newly acquired Shovelhead last night and shaved with it this morning.

I like it. It was milder than the MM Clog-Pruf or the MMOC, but still very efficient. I got my usual 2-pass DFS with no irritation and only one weeper. Also, it was easier to keep a good angle with it than the Micromatics. The Shovelhead seems more inclined to lay flat against the face than the MMs. I do also like how the blade loads into it. Having the cap completely out of the way does make loading a blade easier. The only downside is trying to get under the nose on the WTG pass. The head of the razor is quite wide and can be a bit hard to maneuver in tight places.

I definitely understand why you dig your Shovelhead.

Also, the PAL Blue Carbon was _much_ improved on the second day than on its first day. That could have much to do with being in a different razor, but I also think the blade settled down a bit. It will be fun to try it with a GEM Stainless blade.
