New to de shaving

Hi,
I am new to the forum and just getting into de shaving.
Looks like loads of great resources here. I am looking to acquire good quality essentials. I have acquired a good silvertip badger brush and am now looking to get a descent razor, bowl, and stand.

The intent is to not go over the top with multiple acquisitions, and instead get good quality equipment - one of each of the essentials. (Famous last words) - any recommendations would be appreciated.

For a razor The Muhle r89 seems by many accounts to be a good first razor, but the bluebeards scimitar also looks fantastic (and from what I gather is basically the same razor). Ideally, I really like the look and reviews of the feather as-d2 but at this point can't really justify the cost, so may have to put this upgrade off.

As for a bowl and stand, the ensuite I use does not have a huge amount of bench space. Therefore, I will need something functional, yet compact and aesthetically pleasing for a modern bathroom.
Any and all recommendations welcome!
