At least for Persona Med Prep blades. Fresh from the box, the shave was close, but harsh. A new blade run through 30 cycles in a NOS Twinplex resulted in a dead ringer for a Feather. No irritation, and my face felt 'velvety'. No felt stubble for 14 hours. FWIW, stropping new ASP blades didn't seem to help them. Still gave a good shave, but not superlative as with the Persona blade. I think our shaving ancestors might have been on to something, at least for some blades. OMG, I wonder what one of my Feathers would do with this.
