I first started shaving with a couple of different double edge razors in the 1960's and wish I still had them. I did keep my Old Spice shaving mug that I bought during my high school days.
About three or four months ago I stopped using those multiple-blade razors and returned to double edge ones. The first couple of times, I made heavy use of the styptic pencil, but I'm getting back into the swing of things and only rarely get cuts now.
I'm new to razor collecting. Two terms relating to old Gillettes have me scratching my head.
1. What is a "Brownie" and how can I identify one?
2. What is an "ABC" razor set and how does one identify it?
Any advice will be appreciated.
