being the soap munchkin that i am, grabbing a 1KG block of Cella the moment connaught shaving restocks it is top on my list of shaving priorities (after working out how that blasted rockwell 6s plate system works for me).
i am planning on using pickling jars (i think its called a mason jar in merrica) to store it long term.
the issue is that they have to be heated up very hot in an oven and i am worried that will burn the soap.
is this an unfounded worry, or will something else be in order. i figure that if i split the block into 6 different portions and dump the jars in a roof cavity then it ought to last me until doomsday, or until i work through it.
