Just took the Krect for a spin this morning and it's quite a performer. I have been shaving with very aggressive razors for the last year and had my doubts that the Krect would even cut whiskers. There is very little blade exposure and a narrow gap... But was pleasantly surprised at how effective it was despite this.
I loaded it up with a Feather and lathered some Cella and went to work. Very comfortable on all passes, even the ATG which usually bites me with the more aggressive razors. No audible feedback whatsoever, it was like the whiskers were magically being removed. It does not produce the BBS shave that I get from some of the others, but the comfort and "safety" more than make up for it. This would be a great choice if you're in a hurry and still want a great near BBS shave.
The spiral twist is very slight and serves to give the blade more rigidity. I show a comparison with another slant to give a point of reference.
The mechanism to assemble the razor is clever as well... A "cam lock" holds the head together tightly.
If you ever run across one, I highly recommend giving it a go.
