I turned this last Sunday & finished it this afternoon - I had a very rare early out from work. Ridges in the bottom to work up a good lather and a lip at the top to keep it from creeping out. Figured Maple with Danish Oil all over and sealer on the inside. I went with a low gloss wax finish, and since I have a dovetail recess on the bottom I can rechuck it and add another coat whenever I need. I'm happy with this one, and am looking to make a walnut bowl next.
