I'm curious about other people's experience with this shave cream (tube version). While it provides a reasonably smooth and close shave, I'm left with a burning sensation afterwards. I never have this, not even when using the cheapest shaving gels/foams. The sensation intensifies slightly when rinsing and applying balm (no alcohol). Although it then disappears, I can still feel it a little by the end of the day.
I was really expecting much more from this product, as its first six ingredients match those of more expensive artisan creams by DR Harris, Geo F Trumper, Truefitt & Hill, Taylor of Old Bond Street,...
Since I'm new to shaving creams, I wonder whether it's of the main ingredients (stearic acid, myristic acid) causing the burning. Does anyone have a clue?
